                                                      Picture
The Orangutan Tropical Peatland Project, supported by Orangutan Tropical Peatland Trust (Registered Charity Number 1142870), has been working in Indonesia since 1999. We very much hope to have a long-term presence in this region but we need long-term funding for this.
Remembering the Orangutan Tropical Peatland Trust in your Will is one of the most valuable ways you can ensure ongoing support for our work with wild orang-utans, gibbons and all the varied biodiversity and plant-life in Sabangau.
This information will help you decide what type of gift you wish to leave. We are not solicitors and strongly recommend that you consult a solicitor to help you draw up your will and ensure it meets your exact wishes.

There are 3 ways to make a gift or bequest:
                                                      • A Pecuniary Bequest: a specific amount of money that you would like to leave to the Orangutan Tropical Peatland Trust. Do remember that inflation may impact the value of these gifts so do review your Will from time to time.
                                                      • A Specific Bequest: A specific item or amount that you wish to leave to us. You will have to be very precise in your wording of this.
                                                      • A Residuary Bequest: The remainder of your estate after you have specified all your pecuniary and specific requests. If you do not state what you would like to happen to this, the law will decide on your behalf. This type of legacy is of most benefit to the Trust.
Please speak to your solicitor about how to add a Bequest to the Orangutan Tropical Peatland Trust in your Will.

If you would like to speak to one of the Orangutan Tropical Peatland Project Directors please email info@outrop.com to discuss confidentially how your Bequest can help our on-going conservation work.
